Who we are
The founder of our organization, “Jolly”, is an African American Veteran, who committed her life to helping people in any way possible. After serving her country, she continued serving her homefront in the field of Insurance advocating and assisting those recovering from catastrophes. Jolly has always had an affinity for wood working and from very young wanted to build homes for individuals and families who couldn’t afford them. She’s now taken her passions a step further, in hopes to not only create safe spaces to grow but also educate our communities to do the same.
At the cornerstone of our corporation holds the "Three C's". Community. Compassion. Consistency. When we think about community, we often think of a support and collectiveness. “It takes a village”, gained its popularity from the simplicity of its truth— taking a complex concept and making it 4 words. Our purpose is to support our people with space to grow and create. To assist our people in the progression of their mental health, to develop their skills in an environment that’s becoming increasingly unfamiliar and gain confidence through self-sufficiency.
Community is key to our development whether personal or professional. When life comes to push you down, your community is what lifts you back up, so thank them, feed them, nourish them, as they do you. Reality, like truth can be brutal without Compassion. The reality is the burden of individualism and push for hyper independence has swept our nation like a plague, leaving a fractured populus. The truth is, we are one and what is inside our hearts is projected outward. We extend compassion, we extend understanding, and we extend grace, as God has extended us the same and much more. Compassion breeds ingenuity, fosters hope, and reflects to the mirror that love is in fact real. Consistency minimizes confusion and establishes a level of comfort. Our consistent standards of procedures, customer service, quality materials, and devotion to working in our community maintains a level of trust, which is key to fostering community.
Jolly believes that with a bit of compassion and consistency, we can build our community and grow beautiful things within it. Thank you for your support!
